    Refund Policy


    Order Processing & Cancellation

    All lighting orders at Modaden undergo thorough quality inspections before shipment. Due to our handcrafted production process for designer lighting collections, order processing typically takes 3-5 business days (extended during peak seasons to 5-7 business days). Cancellations must be requested within 24 hours of purchase by emailing [email protected]. After this period, your order enters our artisan workshop and cannot be canceled - though our generous return window provides flexibility.


    Returns & Exchanges

    We take pride in our premium lighting craftsmanship. You may return undamaged items in original packaging within 21 days of delivery (significantly longer than standard home decor retailers). For exchanges, we allow 30 days to accommodate international shipping complexities. Initiate returns through www.modaden.shop and select your preferred resolution. Note: Custom lighting fixtures and clearance items marked "Final Sale" are excluded from returns.


    Return Conditions

    To maintain our high standards, returns must: (1) Show no signs of installation attempts or physical damage (2) Include all original protective packaging and Modaden-branded materials (3) Contain all components and accessories. Our quality team conducts detailed inspections upon receipt. Items failing inspection will be returned to you within 10 business days with a condition report.


    Refund Processing

    Refunds require 10 business days after we receive your return - this extended timeframe accounts for our technical inspection process. The refund amount excludes original shipping fees and return shipping charges. For credit card/PayPal payments, allow additional 3-5 banking days for the refund to reflect in your account.


    Shipping Responsibilities

    Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return results from our error (incorrect/damaged item). We strongly recommend insured shipping with tracking - Modaden cannot be held liable for lost return shipments. For exchanges over $500, we provide prepaid shipping labels (cost deducted from refund if unused).


    Damaged/Defective Items

    Report manufacturing defects within 7 days of delivery by emailing [email protected] with detailed photos/videos. We'll arrange complimentary return shipping and expedite replacement (subject to availability) or issue a full refund including original shipping costs. This exception reflects our commitment to lighting excellence.


    Special Circumstances

    Made-to-order lighting designs are final sale. For holiday purchases (November 20 - December 31), the return window extends to January 20. Commercial/contract lighting orders have separate policies - consult your account manager. Modaden reserves the right to refuse returns from customers with excessive return rates (>30% of orders).
